A traineeship is a course that lasts between 6-16 weeks. This helps us an academy to get to know you and for you to get to know us, also this gives you the chance to see if you would like to stay with us at Inspire but then becoming an apprentice.
During the time of being a traineeship you will attend the academy 2 days a week from 9:30am - 4:00pm, whilst being on the traineeship programme. Yourself and your tutor will be looking into finding a salon placement which then leads onto your apprenticeship. 
As an apprentice you will be in college one day a week and the rest of the week in a salon. Apprentices are to work a minimum of 30 hours including college day and a maximum of 40 hours. Currently apprentices are entitled to £4.81 minimum apprentice wage. Once you are placed in a salon, they will pay for the hours you work including your college hours. However every year the minimum wage will change. please click on the link below to see the current wage.
